Author Elizabeth W. Garber at Cushing Public Library on Sunday, July 29, from 2 to 3:30 pm

Belfast Poet Laureate and author Elizabeth W. Garber will discuss her new book, Implosion: A Memoir of an Architect’s Daughter. Her memoir centers on the building over several years of the modernist family house, designed by her father, that featured large open glass walls. The years-long process finally led to the implosion of the Garber family. Books will be available for signing. The event is free and open to all.

The Library has five artworks by Bernard "Blackie" Langlais, donated by Colby College Museum of Art and the Kohler Foundation. Please visit the Library during our hours as part of The Langlais Art Trail .
